Reviews and Ratings
Overall, my experience was quite mixed. The cabin we stayed in was well-equipped and cozy, making it a comfortable base for our trip. However, the reception service was lacking, and we ran into some issues with the site we were initially assigned. The amenities were functional but felt a bit dated. It’s a decent place for families, but be prepared for some potential frustrations with booking details.
Overall, my stay at the park was quite nice. The location is great, being close to Taranaki National Park, and I appreciated the clean and well-maintained facilities. While the service was excellent with helpful tips from the owner, I found the lack of unlimited Wi-Fi for members to be a bit disappointing. The kitchen area could use a bit of upgrading in terms of equipment, but cleanliness was top-notch.
My experience at this park was quite mixed. The location had a nice family vibe, and the facilities were enjoyable. However, I found the room cramped and overpriced, and the noise from other guests proved to be very disruptive. Overall, while there are some good aspects, the lack of effective management and noise control made it a less than ideal stay.
The campground was nice and clean, with spacious toilets and showers. I appreciated the helpful staff who assisted us with our campervan setup. However, the access was tricky for larger vehicles, and it felt more utilitarian than resort-like, especially compared to other locations I've visited.
